The Central Bank of Libya is a major pillar in the construction of the new nation of Libya post the 17th February Revolution. The invited competition is an opportunity for a new centralised complex bringing together the various departments in one location.
The vision is to epitomise through Architectural expression the new nation of Libya as it stands today finding its way under a new democratic system of liberty and freedom with the promise of a vibrant dynamic future.
We propose a form that emerges from the earth amd grows as a timeless primal form to reach towards the city’s skyline. The layout of the building is determined by ley lines from the significant landmark buildings of the Tripoli Centrall Business District.
